This project embodies my love for scientific and encyclopaedic illustrations, drawing inspiration from the Voynich Manuscript. The collection features tattoo flash art that subverts the traditional concept of “a moth to a flame” by presenting insects—moths, beetles, and other chimeric creatures—gently illuminated from the inside out.

Through this series, I aimed to explore themes of self-reliance and inner strength, visualized through surreal, hybrid creatures that act as their own light source. This project showcases my strengths in illustration and conceptual design, transforming traditional tattoo motifs into innovative and thought-provoking artwork.
